Biography
Aris Winger is an assistant professor of Mathematics at Georgia Gwinnett College. A native of Washington D.C., he is a graduate of Howard University (B.S. in Mathematics) and Carnegie Mellon University (M.S. and Ph.D in mathematical sciences). His current areas of interest and research include Equity in mathematical spaces, culturally responsive teaching, and social justice mathematics. He is a co-author of the book series Advocating for Students of Color in Mathematics and currently serves as the Executive Director of the National Association of Mathematicians.
