Sample Provider Scope of Work for Contracts

Scope of Services 

Contractor shall be part of the professional development (PD) team that will work directly with the XXX Department Chair and the YOUR UNIVERSITY team by creating and facilitating the PD that will be provided to the Department through the course of the TIPS Pathway. The PD includes surveys, conducting focus groups, and guiding workshops. Contractor will provide deliverables to the Department Chair and team upon completion of  activities/tasks.  
The detailed scope of work for the PD team by year is as follows: 
 

Year 1: 7/15/XXXX - 6/30/XXXX; $XXXX Contractual services, (up to $XXXX travel expenses reimbursed) 

Activities: 

• Co-design student department climate survey 
• Review student survey responses
• Conduct student focus group(s) 
• Assist in development of IRB protocol  
• Plan Guided Exploration Equity Workshop (Summer) 
• Participate in monthly PD meetings 
• Conduct bi-weekly (Fall)/monthly (Spring) virtual check-ins with participants 
• Participate in advisory board meetings (2 times/year)
• Co-design and lead 4-day Guided Exploration Equity Workshop cohort A (early August 2021) at  SSU 
• Develop protocol for Guided Exploration to Identify Inequitable Practice cohort A (for  faculty during fall semester) 
• Conduct 3-day CRPs and Rehumanizing Mathematics Workshop cohort A (January) 
• Consult with lesson study teams as Rehumanizing STEM commentator (Spring) 
   

Deliverables:

•  Student survey questions
• Focus group protocol 
• Focus group report, two parts:
  • Student experiences in the Department (seed data for Summer year 1 faculty workshop
  • Student experiences in the wider university (seed data for Summer year 2 barriers and opportunities workshop)
• Workshop schedule and activity outlines
